Leon was the first capital of Nicaragua until 1824 and nowadays is one of the most touristic cities of the country because of its beauty, 4 stunning volcanoes where you can do hiking or climbing, beautiful beaches to enjoy a sunny day, delicious food or just relax.

Nicaragua’s oldest town is also its most beguiling and photogenic. Many travelers use the city as a base, spending at least a day walking in cobblestone roads from church to church in the city center, then venturing out into the countryside for trips to nearby attractions.

Ometepe, an island composed of two volcanoes, emerges from the the Cocibolca, the great Lake of Nicaragua. Joined by a thin, flat isthmus the two volcanoes shape the island like an hour glass. A great place that combines calm lake beaches and eco activities.

San Juan del Sur

San Juan del Sur is located in a wonderful horseshoe-shaped bay bordered by two mountains, in the department of Rivas. Visit its wonderful beaches, so you can enjoy the wind, water sports, hiking, canopy, diving and surfing, and the scenic beauty of its sunsets.
