Belize City is the historical capital of the country, making it an interesting place to spend a day. Its ramshackle streets are alive with colorful characters who represent every facet of Belize’s ethnic make up, especially the Creoles.
San Ignacio serves as the cultural-economic hub of Cayo District. It got its start from mahogany and chicle production during British colonialism. From here we visit Barton Creek, Xunantunich and other sites.
